The staff here was super helpful, and they took care of our requests really quickly. Our room was brand new and nicely furnished, plus it had a kitchenette! 😊.

the staff are really helpful and exceptionally helpful, overall. the building is unique and the rooms are well-equipped and themed with lovely touches to amp up the charm, showers, kitchenette. overall great food, plus there is commercial hotel close by. thank you for a pleasant overnight stay.

Absolutely loved the unique feel of the place! The rooms were clean and comfy, and having laundry facilities was a real bonus. Perfectly located for exploring all the local sights and attractions on foot.

Stayed at this hotel recently and was pleasantly surprised by the unique decor that gave it a nostalgic touch. the room was well-equipped with a microwave, fridge, and plenty of hot water. Its central location in Longreach made it easy to explore attractions like the Qantas Founders Museum and other local landmarks. the friendly staff and comfortable bed added to the overall positive experience.

One improvement could be better insulation in the rooms, especially during colder weather. having a block-out curtain on the windows could help prevent excess light from disturbing sleep.

The Staging Post has professional and attentive staff. the setting is amazing and convenient, located next door to the Longreach airport, pub, morning coffee, and town center. the restaurant offers excellent Chinese food.

Pros the A/C was already on when we got in – nice touch during the hot weather! the buffet dinner on Saturday was a good old-fashioned roast, quite tasty. the location was spot-on, right in the centre of town, with easy access to everything we needed.

Cons the design wasn't what we expected – felt like staying in a bunkhouse on a farm. Lots of flies in the room;

The Staging Post in Longreach is centrally located, just a short walk from Jacksonville Beach Pier. the unit is brand new, beautifully maintained, and the bed is very comfortable. It also has a microwave.

The location to Longreach airport was great and absolutely perfect for us. We were so close to the familiar QANTAS museum and Stockman's Hall of Fame. - Close to the center of town with handy access to the pub, shops, and restaurants.
